Something wild happened in my kitchen today: This drink!!! I hate punctuation. I think it takes away from the pure expression of things but my word, this drink breaks the rules. The flavours are unexpected and shouldn’t really work at all, but they rock your palate out like nobody’s business.
Recipe:
2 oranges, peeled and de-seeded
2 cups of Kombucha
3 tablespoons coconut oil
a few healthy dashes of fresh black pepper
Blend on high speed for 1 minute until creamy and frothy then drink and marvel!
Expect: sour, tart, sweet, acidic and creamy with a slowly-rising heat from the black pepper.
PS: If you’re in Taipei and you would like some kombucha, please contact me. I have several cultures to share.
Are you still in Taipei//still have cultures?

Hello!!! Do you still have an extra scoby? I’ve recently moved to Taipei (from Italy), and forgot to take a scoby with me (ok, let’s just say my suitcase was waay too full)… ^_^ ~ Mimi

This is awesome! I’m so glad I found your blog!! I’ve been looking for kombucha since so long and I couldn’t find any and now I’m thinking to make it my own and I need to buy some cultures, I’ve been to many organic stores in Daan but they don’t have the cultures for kombucha 😦 i just moved to Taipei in July, I’m new but not new to this city.. Anyway, I’ll leave my contact info here perhaps we can make a time to meet up?
